DewOnAPetal Soy Candle Company

After working with paraffin candles as a hobby for many years, DewOnAPetal soy candles was born in 2007 after experimenting with soy wax for holiday gifts. Living in Manhattan at the time, the studio consisted of the kitchen, dining room and spare bedroom. DewOnAPetal began selling soy candles at area shows, including the Brooklyn Flea, Handmade Cavalcade and other area indie markets.   It was a challenge navigating the NYC subway system with bins of candles and tables on a handcart at 6am, often with no working elevators.   It was a summer I won't soon forget.

Since moving to upstate NY in the summer of 2009 and stimulating the economy by purchasing a house and car, DewOnAPetal has become a fulltime business with a dedicated studio and best of all, an SUV to carry wares to ship and area shows where I can meet my enthusiastic customers.    I still travel to NYC to meet with wholesale and private label customers from time to time and visit my daughter who continues to reside in the city as a graduate opera student at Juilliard.

Although the primary focus is wedding and wholesale, we strive to meet the needs of all our customers, both large or small. Enjoy browsing and contact me any time if you have questions or ideas.    It's an exciting time as I have plans to expand with new products. Stay tuned!
